The consortium formed by ONLINE SERVICES S.R.L. as Project Leader and NEXT PLANET S.R.L. and WIDECOM SYSTEMS S.R.L. as Partners, founding members of the ICT industry cluster “Legitim-ID”, implements the project “Identity management and advanced authentication solution using convergent technologies and ensuring higher levels of security for access to critical applications and platforms: Legitim-ID”, aiming to support the growth of added value generated by the ICT sector and innovation in the field through cluster development.
The total value of the project is 9.399.133,18 lei, the implementation period is 24 months, from 04.08.2020 to 03.08.2022. The project will be implemented in 3 regions of Romania, namely South-East (Buzău), South-Muntenia (Ilfov) and Centre (Brașov).
The objectives of the project are:
- a) to develop the R&D-innovation capacity in relation to the existing capacity and to add to the portfolio of the Consortium members a new range of technologies embedded in innovative products that will be the basis for addressing new market niches and opening new markets
- b) Diversification and consolidation of the range of products and services through the initial investment related to the project (acquisition of new equipment and licenses)
- c) integration of the project results in several economic sectors of activity
- d) increased visibility, efficiency and better control of activities
Expected project results:
(a) increased competitiveness of companies through the experience gained from the implementation of the project, including technology transfer from research organizations such as universities
- b) creation of a favorable environment within companies for the transition from outsourcing to innovation-driven development, by engaging highly experienced and qualified specialists
- c) collaboration between the members of the cluster focused on the ICT field, in order to develop and ensure quick and easy access to new technologies and the implementation of R&D&I results
